It is the largest independent full service auto repair and maintenance shop servicing European and domestic automobiles on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The owner, Pat Gray, has been in the automotive and repair business for over 40 years. His excitement about cars extends from the early ‘70s when he began working at a gas station in his hometown of Biloxi, MS. He started working with Kohl Motors as the shop’s foreman in 1978, eventually purchasing the business in 2008. He has completed numerous training hours and achieved expert designations including: ASE Master certified technician, ACE certified in service writing, BOSCH Service Center certified and AC Delco training by GM. Pat is passionate about sharing his knowledge with his customers and technicians. He is ceaselessly committed to customer loyalty and quality service.

 

Gayle Gray is Pat’s wife and partner in the business. They have been married for 33 years. She retired from a lifelong career in the medical field to join the family business in 2008 when they took over Kohl Motors. Conscientious and driven, Gayle oversees the daily administrative duties of the office and the shop as well as the growth and continued success of the shop. Her contributions include everything from budgeting to bookkeeping, embracing best methods in marketing, continued brand management and development, supporting and working with current customers, reaching out to new customers, and many other valuable services.

 

Patrick Gray, son of Pat and Gayle Gray, has recently completed his bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Southern Mississippi. In 2014, he joined the family business and is being trained in all aspects of operations.
